My experience with Tutorme was really disappointing, especially with the operator named Nicole. She totally disregarded my feedback on lessons and made it tough for students with ADHD to feel comfortable. One thing she said was about 'little to no student engagement,' which ended up punishing students who were just trying to solve problems independently. On top of that, Tutorme has been shortchanging me by rounding down the tutoring minutes I should be paid for. I've got screenshots of my lesson feedback and recordings of their timers, and over the years I've been here, they've taken a lot of my money and time, along with that of other tutors. I strongly urge all tutors to speak up about this and reclaim their earnings. It’s a real pity because Tutorme has the potential to be a fantastic resource for students, but with folks like Nicole promoting dishonesty and showing a lack of respect for students, it just ain't worth it.

This site is a total scam. They grab your cash and then go silent. Don't fall for it and throw away your hard-earned money.

Where to begin?... I'd say that around 80% of the tutors at TutorMe don’t really consider how you learn best. They tend to force the lesson on you at their speed, not yours. I've been overlooked time and again when I had questions, and I can't stress enough that they just go about their own business without thinking about you.
Also, good luck finding a tutor. You end up waiting, and waiting, and then waiting some more...
Now, I want to explain the one star I gave, so I should mention that I HAVE found a few decent tutors. They were supportive, patient, and adapted to my learning style. But honestly, most of them seem to be doing something else while they’re meant to be helping you. Overall, I consider this a pretty disappointing experience in terms of education.

Tutorme is the go-to resource I keep returning to. I've been using it for just over a year. I've received support in various subjects, from Engineering to Calculus. The variety of tutors is great, and I appreciate being able to save and revisit the ones I've enjoyed learning with before.

Most of the time, you gotta be quick before someone else snatches them. A few times, students have actually reached out to me after I tutored them, which helped me get more lessons. I reckon tutoring is also slower during the summer months in the US when I kicked things off. Overall, the tutoring experience is pretty good with the tools that TutorMe provides.

I'm really into this platform! It's super user-friendly. There are tons of topics available, and it's a great opportunity to earn some cash while assisting others in their learning journey! The pay is pretty solid too.
